~ Eckhart Tolle
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. There is nothing else to do. Either we accept what is or we choose to change what is by, as is stated above, leaving it, the situation. But no amount of complaining or thinking on or talking about is going to change what currently is.
So here's a quick exercise to help guide you to the acceptance of this statement and finding within you the ability to choose which direction you wish to take.
Close your eyes, take a nice, slow, deep breath in through your nose and allow it all to release out your mouth. Breathing in and out in this fashion a time or two until you literally feel the release in your physical body, the tension that you have been holding onto for whatever reason. Makes no difference. Once you have found a more relaxed state, continue to scan your body from head to fingertips, to toes and while scanning notice where any tension or emotional residue may be hiding. When you find it, acknowledge it and then give it permission to release as you let it go. Let it drain easily from your body and feel the release.
Now just above your head you notice a brilliant, White Light. Feel the warmth as it comes closer and begins to wash down over your entire body and being. Breathe in this powerful, healing White Light and watch as it flows easily throughout your entire body. Touching each and every part and piece of you. Feeling very very relaxed you can now focus your attention in your Heart Center and simply be there. Listen. Learn.
Allow whatever is to come to you with ease. Experience the message that is unfolding. Don't try and rush it or push it to happen, just allow it to come to you. Feel the Truth of what is and what is to be fill your Heart Center. Your Higher Self is there with you. Your Inner Voice is showing you what is in your Highest and Best Good and it will never tell you otherwise. Smile to the insight. Feel the love and accept the Truth. Allow this energy to be absorbed and whenever you are ready, slowly find your self coming back to the room. Welcome Back!
I like to end these types of exercises with a simple 'Thank you, Thank you, Thank you' and a KNOWING that this acknowledgement is being expressed to All That Is, to include My Self as Co-Creator of my world and existence.
I hope you enjoy this practice and use it often. I'd love to hear your experiences with it if you care to share.
In Truth, Kathleen
