Take a moment and ask your self just how much emotion is wrapped around things that have happened in your past?
And how much time do you spend focusing on problems that you have right now in your everyday life?
Well let me help you with this ... Unfortunately too many, in fact most of us spend entirely too much time and wasted energy focusing on what's negative and what's not right in our lives which only creates more of the same.
Being able to free up this time, this energy and create more space, free space within can have a huge impact on our lives both in how we feel and what we attract and allow into our lives.
So I'd like to provide you with a nice round of EFT to get you started with learning to LET GO.
Starting with Tapping on the Karate Chop Point while repeating the following sentences:
~ Even though I am way too emotional about my past and the events from it, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway.
~ Even though I spend entirely too much time and energy thinking about all the negative things in my life, I deeply and completely love and accept myself just as I am.
~ Even though I tend to focus on problems and how nothing ever seems to go right for me, I deeply and profoundly love and accept all of me and my thoughts.
Tapping on the Individual Release Points while repeating the following key phrases:
Inside of Eye [IE] - I'm way too emotional about my past
Outside of Eye [OE] - I spend entirely too much time on the negative things in my life
Under Eye [UE] - I use up all my energy thinking about past events
Under Nose [UN] - I always seem to focus on problems
Chin - I am forever looking at what's wrong in my life
Collarbone - [CB] - I love to pay attention to how things won't work for me
Under Arm [UA] - I am so so negative
Top of Head [TH] - I am forever living in the negative parts of my past
Take a moment and a nice, slow, deep breath. Allow whatever is there to surface and talk to you. If you don't hear anything, that's okay too. It just means that whatever was stored has been released and you are now free to move along.
Now let's Tap in a bit of Positive In. Again, Tapping on the Individual Release Points while repeating the following key phrases:
IE - What if I chose to focus on uplifting and positive things in my life?
OE - What if my energy was spent in the moment rather than in the past?
UE - I think I'd like to explore changing my focus
UN - I think it would be fun to look at what's right in my life, what's working
Chin - I'm going to allow the opportunity for this change to happen
CB - In fact I'm excited about this change and invite it in right now
UA - I like my new outlook on life
TH - I raise my vibration to see and feel more opportunity for positive change in my life
Sit with this for a while and allow it to absorb within. Listen again for the messages that come to you. If not today, somewhere down the road you will hear, sense, experience this shift in energy. This release of what was and change for what has become.
You can repeat this as many times as you would like and if it feels right or necessary, go ahead and change up the words some to fit whatever it is you need RIGHT NOW while using this technique to bring change and the ability to LET GO into your life.
